Write a short retelling of the story of Noah’s Ark from the point of view of your animal. The earth is going to be destroyed because of humans’ evil ways. How does this make you feel? (A tiger might be angry at humans. A sheep might still be accepting and trusting of them.) What about the earth will you miss the most? (A squirrel might miss eating oak acorns. A dragonfly might miss sunning on a rock.) What is it like entering the Ark? Will you fly? Walk? Or slither? What is it like on the Ark? Cold? Dark? Smelly? How do you feel about the other animals? What is it like exiting the Ark and returning to the earth?
